Silent Conversations

‘Animals are often not prioritized. Humanity is. I want to focus on prioritizing them and turning this in to a call to action to protect them and take good care of them. We need a deep connection. Do I need to humanize them a little? And where do I draw the line? Those where questions that kept me busy while creating these paintings. The color palettes I used are found in nature. That's where I find them. With my art I bring them in to peoples homes without them maybe even realizing it. We need nature, we need wildlife, we need our planet. We need to care’.
